At Hotel & Bungalows Balcón de Cómpeta we have already confirmed the dates for our traditional wine pairings and the long-awaited 8th Wine Fair 2026. Once again, we celebrate the union of local gastronomy with the finest wines from the Axarquía region, Andalusia, and the rest of Spain.

🍷 What to Expect
Each wine pairing includes a carefully selected range of wines accompanied by local dishes and tapas, designed to highlight aromas and flavours. As usual, we pair 4 wines with 4 dishes: a sparkling wine, a white wine, a red wine, and a sweet wine — the latter typically produced locally in Cómpeta.
The 8th Wine Fair will be a larger event, featuring invited wineries, open tastings, and local gastronomy in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. It usually takes place from 13:00 to 17:00, offering around 25 different wines, a cheese table, and our traditional mixed paella.
